Awful Customer Service

They just don't care like they used to. I previously used the app all the time. Now, will need to be careful. Terrible service after parking garage refused service due to over capacity. Been on phone line for 20+ minutes with ParkWhiz customer support. Not even a small credit for the hassle. And now just waiting on hold. Awful.

Location search doesn’t work

Update : to suggest to everyone that is writing bad reviews of this app that didn’t actually get ripped off and found it hard or impossible to use call customer service is absurd. Nobody has time for that. We are simply going to look elsewhere. The location search doesn’t work. I type in an address in Philadelphia and I get results in god knows where Missouri. Zip code search doesn’t work either. Useless app. Look elsewhere. I deleted it.

Stopped working

I used to use it all the time and loved it. But since few months ago, it stopped working & it does not generate the address, and yield no results and just get stuck in searching.

Inaccurate information

I’ve never gotten the price I see on the app. I parked somewhere in Salt Lake City today that the app told me would cost $3 but it cost me $19.

No good no good They rip you off the double charged you after you use the parking pass. too many charges that I never use with this app and then never respond to you call and there’s no customer service. There is no email that works to contact them. basically is a scammer

Customer service doesn’t help you

I booked a lot in DC 3 weeks ago and for some reason a lot of streets were closed off. I could not get into the lot and requested a refund right away. The agents no longer help you during the call and make you submit a form, just so they can hopefully not refund you. They keep asking for things when all they need to know was I could not access the lot and I need a refund. Congrats on losing a customer, 2 with my girlfriend’s account too.

Great customer experiences

App is intuitive and easy to use. I’ve always found multiple parking options for my trips allowing me to quickly choose optimal cost, timing, distance, indoor/outdoor and such for each. But the 5-stars goes for their fast response and full refunding of not one, but two, separate occasions when the booked parking didn’t go to plan. Once a lot’s QR code reader was broken so I had to pay manually on spot. And once due to less than usual traffic, I arrived 15 minutes before scheduled start and automated gate wouldn’t allow me to enter lot but neither could I realistically back up one-way, skinny ramp to leave with 3 honking cars behind me. Paid manually on spot then too. In both cases, Best Parking replied to my email explanation (and receipts) in minutes with confirmation of refund and apologies for the inconvenience of the situation. Even though it was just fate, no one’s true fault. I wish all my service providers were half as good at customer service. (P.S. I believe Best Parking and Park Whiz are owned by same parent company with same tech platform and customer service resources!)

This app has saved me plenty of time and money in cities like Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York and others.

2024 update. Can you make colors different for the visually impaired. My eyesight isn’t great and it’s very difficult to see the difference between metered and no parking.

This app is terrific. There is a discount from regular prices, and an especially nice feature is that you can cancel any time before the reservation (in case you find street parking five minutes before). One caveat: The garage can charge you extra if you arrive early. Also, there’s no reason you can’t cancel whenever you don’t use the garage. This way, it’s a windfall for the app since the garage gets nothing if you don’t use it.

I have issues for the 2nd time! Going into my spot and have my spot not reserved right! Better find another app that doesnt deceive people!

When traveling ti major cities i save a lot of money with best parking app. Just saved $25 for 3 days in Baltimore MD today. The savings really add up over time. Plus easy directions directly to your parking lot or garage. It saves me so much time and so much money.

I had used the app locally just fine and thought I would use it and buy parking in advance for a 2day music festival in Cincinnati. I went to the parking lot using the directions the site provided, but the attendant refused to let me in with the parking pass. The parking lot has 2 openings on different streets but the side that is shown in pictures was closed and attendant said the garage I paid for was down the street. Yet the parking lot matched the pictures I had from when I paid. We had already waited 1.5-2 hrs in traffic to get in so I paid again. Online I was charged $40 + fees in advance when on-site it was only $20. I should have saved my time and money and just paid when I arrived. The only good thing was I was able to cancel the parking for the second day and get credited. I did email them and they responded. I had to provide proof and send the info and they probably would have credited me. I just took it as a lesson learned. The app will overcharge you. Just arrive early and pay on site.

Not good app not recommended

I tried to use this application during my visit to New York, but it has been nothing but a frustrating experience. On the first day, the parking lot I selected through the app charged me an additional $30 on top of what I had already paid. I decided to give the app another chance the next day, but things only got worse. When I arrived at the parking lot, it was completely full, even though I had already paid through the app. To make matters worse, I found out that the money I paid is non-refundable because the app has no way of knowing whether I actually parked the car or not. This whole situation feels like a scam—this application is nothing but a headache. Learn from my experience and avoid it at all costs.

No refunds for oversold lots

This app refused to issue a refund for booking me with an oversold lot even though I immediately purchased a pass for a lot next door. I requested the refund 16 days later while doing my accounting, and they would not issue a refund or credit because it had been more than 14 days. As someone who used the app on a weekly + basis, I can no longer give them money in good faith. An absolute disgrace, and a faulty product to sell passes that cannot be used.

Arrived at garage and they rejected me because it was a Tesla.

Booked parking in the app and then had to pay in the garage itself anyway tried to call support, and wasted 10 minutes only for the agent to hang up on me. One star is too much.

Horrible customer support. I had an issue where I booked and paid for parking at a garage that was inaccessible. Best Parking did the vanishing act. I’m dumping them plus ParkWhiz which is the same company. My issue is breach of trust. They can eff off.

I have used this company twice for the same garage in NYC, Enterprise 57 Parking LLC. The first time we had no issues. The second time however was a big problem. I reserved parking and paid in advance for parking from 11am on 6/30 to 11am on 7/7. When I picked up my car they said I owed an additional $70.00. They gave me a receipt when I picked up the car that said I dropped off my car 1/2 hour early and that was the reason for the extra $70.00. Problem with that is, I have an ezpass receipt showing I crossed the GW bridge at 12pm in the car they say was parked in their garage at 10:30am. BestParking was no help in getting the issue resolved. They said because the garage receipt shows I dropped the car off at 10:30am they would not even look at the proof that that was impossible. Disgusting behavior for a business. Be wary!

Couldn’t access the garage

I was at the correct parking garage however they would not accept my prepaid parking. I reached out to the attendant that said it wasn’t valid. I also emailed support at BestParking and haven’t heard back from anybody.

Impossible to get a refund

If the parking garage is full, or something else like space is inaccessible or parking lot is closed, anything that prevents parking, it’s money gone. And sometimes the directions are wrong, and it leads to the correct GPS address but doesn’t specify which parking lot at that address.

I frequently cancel reservations. Best Parking app easy to use, can store parking pass on cellphone; best part is ability to cancel until the start time of the reservation. When I tried the apps of the garages’ owners, they were more complicated to use and their personal service were frequently inadequate. Sometimes, Best Parking is a couple of dollars more expensive than the “home” app, but very well worth it … absolutely no hassles!!

Bad directions and impossible to get a refund?

I am new to the Las Vegas area and was looking for a place where I could park my F250 near planet Hollywood. I found this app and it recommended the miracle mile parking garage so I paid ahead of time and headed that way. I followed the GPS exactly and went to the address provided. Once I arrived all of the parking areas I saw were for vehicles 6’ 8” or less. I drove around more and found a few areas for larger vehicles but they were full and not at the address in the app. I asked one of the attendants at a hotel that shared the parking garage with the miracle mile and he had no idea where the app was trying to take me. I called customer service and asked for a refund and they want receipts of where I ended up parking? What kind of policy is that? The fact is I never parked and I would think with todays technology they could easily tell that the pass they gave me was never scanned. I want my money back!

Can’t reset password

I have tried the “reset password” and when I click the link to reset it - it brings me to the app center to open the app, it doesn’t allow me to set up a new password.

Terrific App. Terrific Service!

Have used for several years and the app and service just get better! Including being able to cancel at any time prior to the reservation. No complaints! Last weekend I booked at a parking lot in midtown Manhattan which, upon arrival, was filled with stalls for a popup market! I emailed ParkWiz Sunday evening and got a written response (and promise of a full refund) within a minute or so. The app is great. The level of service is fabulous. Bravo!

Almost Got Locked in Garage All Night!!

I found a wonderful garage that was attached to the train station and I reserved and prepaid for parking. I received a QR code. When I got to the garage, there was no option for a QR code. After trying several times at both entrances, I pressed the help button. An attendant got me in, I parked and left. I came back around 9:30 that night. Upon exit, I couldn’t get out because my phone wouldn’t fit where you’re supposed to show the QR code. I checked the courtesy desk and it was closed. I called the numbers posted for help, but I was left on hold interminably. I went inside the building the garage was attached to, but the guard there knew nothing about how to help me exit. Finally after trying maybe 20 times, the gate finally opened. I mean Jeez Louise—I was trapped in a parking garage for 40 minutes trying to exit! If the app doesn’t work easily with the garage, the garage should maybe not even be an option.

Garbage and full of wrong information

Don’t believe the rate they show you. They sometimes show hourly rate as parking fee for duration you specify. Also, they refused to refund you money even though parking was refused by parking lot attendant for being full. AND they say they could only refund before the parking start time. How could I do that when I intended to park and only find out that you can’t park when you arrive? Total garbage all around.

All good things maybe come to an end. Loved this app before. The world has changed. I have 3 experiences in the past few months that have confirmed this for me. Save yourself some trouble. Park apps are not valuable anymore.

Be aware!

This app/company is unreliable and the customer service is indifferent and hard to reach. I booked/paid for a parking at a garage and when I got there the lot was closed for no reason. The attendant said all booking is cancelled. I ended up finding a street parking. When I asked customer service for a refund, they said there were no such cancellations at the lot. They asked me proof that I parked somewhere else which I didn’t have since I was parked on the street. They refused to give me a refund, but said out of courtesy they will give me credit… as if they were doing me a favor! Just be aware and don’t pay for your parking in advance.

Garages Us Bookings For Extortion

Several times I have used the app to pre-book a spot. When I arrive at the garage, I am told there is no spot and my reservation doesn’t guarantee a spot even though I’ve already paid for it. Then the attendant will say that he will find me a spot anyway for $10-20 in cash. This is extortion. You often don’t have time to find another place if you’ve counted on arriving at a certain time, say for the theater or a dinner reservation. I say use the app to find garages but never pre-pay with it.
